Developer
CAS Riegler is seeking approval for its plans to transform 1250 Ninth Street (former home to Fight Club) and the lot at Ninth and N currently occupied by Old City Green into a mixed use project. The development would include ground floor retail and fifty four residences. The innovative design is by the great architectural firm
PGN Architects.
Here are the images of the project as currently proposed. I think it looks awesome:

Who is the architect?
Oops -- sorry for that omission. PGN Architects are the designers of the project....

Wow how big is the footprint? Does look nice. I hope DD can move OCG to one of their other places for a bit? They have a lot at 6th & L
It's not on the beaten path or the Shaw Main Street Corridor commercial strip but it might be nice to see OCG at the NCEC, NJ Ave and P NW, until they get plans ready to do something more interesting.
Holy monstrousity, my poor block! Yes developing dead space it good, but I love Old City Green there and that massive, ugly complex looks like cell block 5 in county. No thanks
I don't think that's been to HPRB yet. Most developers go to HPRB before zoning. The corner is also called 902 N Street, so maybe it went to HPRB under a different address, but I don't remember anything going to HPRB at that corner.
