Rent Me: 1124 9th Street
New signage recently went up on 1124 9th Street, adjacent to the new home of Corduroy Restaurant, advertising a retail space for lease through CBRE. Further inquiry revealed that the above transformation of the property is anticipated, which would add a rear three story addition to the building and a terrace above the one story structure currently on the site (check out the property's PDF flyer here). I can envision a lot of neat things in this prime 2,500 square feet of street level across from the convention center (I'm thinking an awesome gallery or salon or wine bar).
UPDATE - you can also check out the project website,
www.cbre.com/1124ninth, which seems to contain all of the information from the PDF flyer above.

it looks pretty modern! it's hard to tell from the rendering, but anything rehabbed is good in my book....i'm curious why they wouldn't make it go higher at the front....??
I'm sure we have HPRB to thank for the front remaining low... gotta respect historical significance!
Yikes, the Whitman Watcher is back (again). Visit my blog, and join the fight against this menace.
this is a very good economic indicator. private money going into long neglected real estate.
I love the setback and the opportunity it creates for an attractive terrace above the street.
