I really hope Vegetate survives despite the whole liquor license debacle. Although I'm not a vegetarian, I love vegetables and innovative food, and I think their space is neat.

Anyone have any updates on their fight to overcome their current license-less plight? I hear that they're able to score 1-day alcohol permits (the type permits caterers use) to serve alcohol every now and then. These type permits are not appealable (thus none of the neighbors can oppose them), but they are (I assume) ultimately a lot more costly than a liquor license. I'm going to do my part to keep them afloat until they can bring in alcohol revenue on a daily basis--mark my words, every visitor I have is going to experience at least one meal at Vegetate.
