I Missed It, Too

I've yet to attend a briefing on the new convention center headquarters hotel, which is to be built on the block bounded by 9th, Mass, and L. Here's a great post summarizing Marriott's presentation to the Blagden Alley and Naylor Court Association last week. Of note, digging for the hotel should start within a year, there should be a project website soon, the other Marriott hotels (opening on the north side of L Street in the 900 block) should open at about the same time as the big hotel, 100,000 square feet of meeting space and two 100,000 square foot ball rooms, street-oriented restaurants and on and on and on!!!
