Commissioner Kevin Chapple's ANC2C02.org is partnering with TreeBoxVodka.com to launch a "monthly project as a way to clean up hot spot areas in and around Shaw. This is planned to kick-off in August and will happen the second Saturday of every month. The objective is to clean up targeted areas and create some long-term results in keeping areas clean and litter free. Plus, this is a great way to get out and meet others in the community and help clean up the environment." Exciting, right? I'm there. Check out a .pdf of the flyer here.

Thanks for the post!
Important We are planning to meet-up at the old Library not the new one. Just there on the corner.
Plus the weather looks good as of today - only high 80's and 50% humidity. Not bad.
Bring some gloves and we'll fan hitting the litter.
