1. The Capital Fringe Festival - Fringe Festival Events are going on at two Shaw Venues: bobrauschenbergamerica by Charles Mee at Long View Gallery (details here) runs through Sunday, and numerous events at the Warehouse Arts Complex (check out your options and links to details here).
2. Aphrodizia Tonight at Project 4 - Tonight's Aphrodizia features Lulacruza, a South American experimental duo from San Francisco. Doors open at 9 p.m.; $10 gets you in the doors where free flowing wine and beer will await you.

3. Check Out Nellie's - The long awaited Nellie's Sports Bar opened this past Monday. The glorious weekend weather forecast will surely mean that Nellie's huge roof deck will be the place to be.

4. There's Always This Fun Stuff To Do in Shaw - These regular weekend options are always great: the Liberation Dance Party at DC9, the shows at 9:30 Club, Black Cat, Arena Stage, and Studio Theater, the cultural offerings of the Warehouse Arts Complex, Project 4 Gallery, the Ninth Street Gallery, and the Long View Gallery, and the chance to get your freak on and knock back some drinks at places like Avenue, Be Bar, and Old Dominion Brewhouse.

Just in case you did not know, Nellie's Sports Bar is a gay sports bar. Just want to make sure that no one gets pissed when they go there and guys are checking them out.
