Work Ongoing at Shiloh's Vacant Properties

This photograph shows a worker replacing old plywood with new, covering over a third story window at one of Shiloh Baptist Church's vacant properties along the 1500 block of 9th Street, NW. The church has paid $271,081.50 in taxes alone since 2005 to keep its portfolio of vacant properties, and recently received orders from the city to make certain repairs to un-condemn the properties.
