Weekend Shoutouts

This weekend Shaw really shows that it’s a haven for the arts!

1. Mickelson's Attic Sale Saturday and Sunday - From 10am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday, Mickelson's Fine Art Framing is hosting a special sale. Find bargains on rare and old fine arts and frames as we open dusty old box after box. Steel engravings from the 19th century, asian wall hangings, illustrations from 19th c Harper's Magazines, 100-year-old sketches, etchings, old maps, original oils, interesting letters written in the 1800's, fun posters from the 50's and 60's. Hundreds of used and unused old frames -- ovals, gold plated, silver, velvet easel backs and more. First peek tells us these boxes have both serious collectible pieces and plenty of fun old novelty pieces for decorating.
