And the Winner Is . . . [updated]

At Shaw Main Streets’ fourth annual meeting this past Tuesday, the organization announced the results of its "Best New Business of 2006" competition. It is exciting to know that so many new businesses opened in our great neighborhood last year, and I know this trend will continue.

I find it awesome, and somewhat surprising, that Shaw can support a professional tailoring business. I think of custom-made clothes as the domain of Wall Street bankers and people who light cigars with dollar bills!

Hope their business thrives in Shaw.
