This weekend, I had the pleasure of going to the open house for The Nine, the fabulous renovation/development in the 1300 block of Ninth Street (I last wrote about The Nine here). In all, there are four residential, one office and one retail condominiums in this historic mixed use project, and all evidence great attention to detail and style.
The residences each possess great finishes, airy and open rooms, and outdoor spaces. Two units are accessed from a cute entrance on Naylor Court and two are accessed from Ninth Street.
The one and two bedroom condominiums range from $359,000 to $449,9000.

So beautiful!
Working, working for a house.
According to contractors, two of the condos have already been sold and the upper office space leased! This project sets a standard for the alley and while the stable is a reproduction (the original stable and home were destroyed in the development process) it does at least capture the spirit of the alley and years past.
Honestly, I was sad that they decided to Mc-Condo this building out instead of gearing it towards DIYers or first-time home buyers (less luxurious finshes), but at the same time during the open house i noticed shotty/cheap materials posing as luxury and really poor layouts. Guess it's better than an broken building though.
How is the noise from the bar next door?
