I'm a little late in posting, but you've probably noticed to the right a link to VegDC's annual poll on the Washington area's best vegetarian restaurants. Vegetate is again nominated in several categories. The polling ends today (September 30), so click on the box to the right and vote! There are several categories where you can vote for other Shaw restaurants serving vegetarian food as well.
Speaking of Vegetate, the notable 9th Street restaurant is now on Open Table. Accordingly, making reservations at Vegetate just got even easier.
Note that Vegetate is now open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. They feature happy hour in the lounge (located on the second floor) Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with specials on beer, wine, cocktails and food.
