Check out this article from today's WaPo about fundraising efforts for the Howard Theater project. In all, $10 million to $14 million needs to be raised for the theater restoration. Once restored, the theater will be a hub of activity and will greatly compliment surrounding development, such as the new headquarters for Radio One just around the corner.
