On Saturday night, I went to the Long View Gallery's opening of its latest show, a photography exhibit entitled "Saturated View" by local artist Charlie Gaynor. In addition to the good times always had at the openings at Long View, I really enjoyed perusing this body of work.
Charlie's photographs--with their rich colors, interesting uses of light and shadows, and intriguing subject matters--really draw in the viewer. Plus, with gorgeous frames, beautiful compositions and a variety of sizes, the work offers awesome focal points for just about any wall.
The show runs through September 8, so if you didn't get a chance to see it this weekend, be sure to stop by soon.
