Thanks to new area blogger Justin for pointing me to Outisde In's Rankings of America's Top 10 Bloggiest Neighborhoods. Shaw came in at number 2 on their list (just behind Clinton Hill in Brooklyn). I somehow got a shoutout as well in the listing! Woot.
On a wholly different note, mark your calendar for tomorrow's neighborhood happy hour at Old Dominion Brewhouse (1219 9th Street, NW) at 6:30. These gatherings are meant to give neighbors an informal setting to meet, greet, air their concerns, and enjoy a neighborhood eatery/watering hole. There will be a raffle at this happy hour so tell your neighbor and tell your other neighbor and tell them to tell another neighbor.

Unfortunately work is KILLING me this week and has kept me here til about 11 every night (I will likely be here later tonight). I would've killed to have gone.
