Surveillance and Documentation

Check out this intriguing (and gutsy) citizen surveillance and documentation of some neighborhood hoodlums, prompted by the stealing of an expensive locked bike from a fenced in backyard.

Let's hope these guys are jailed soon.

Wow, that is some amazing legwork by a very brave neighbor!!! Won't the police go arrest these guys NOW?!? How much more clear can this possibly be????

What is wrong with Shaw?? How do we get these thugs out as quickly as possible?

Absolutely appalling - these criminals obviously have no fear of getting arrested...and the really sad part is that it seems these criminals pretty much get away with their crimes. My place has been broken into THREE times in four years, with no arrests or resolution.

Is there any way to get this in the hands of the local mainstream media - the Post, NBC4, Fox 5, etc???

I think they'd eat this up as a story and would bring more attention to the problem from law enforcement...

ShawRez, do you know if there's an update re. any arrests?? Thanks for the info!

Has anyone identified these individuals? I believe I know who S2 is. He is in his 20s (possibly his 30s) and steals bikes for a living. I would estimate he steals 2 or 3 bikes a week. It would be nice if he were stopped.

Maybe this is why the criminiminal nihilist element thrives and carries on with such reckless abandon.
